Hello and welcome! My name is Cindy Ramos and this is my 13th year in education. I have taught English at the California Military Institute, Heritage High School, and Paloma Valley High School. I was also an Assistant Principal at Pinacate Middle School. I’m always up for challenges -- this year I’m excited to join the team of teachers leading the way in Distance Learning, as we eagerly await to return to traditional face-to-face instruction. I enjoy learning about students' unique backgrounds and cultures and helping them make deep, applicable, and meaningful connections to literature. In addition to teaching, I also serve on the Equity Committee at the district level. I'm from Guatemala; I speak 5 languages. I love helping students achieve their educational endeavors! This year I will be teaching English at Paloma Valley High School. I will be using Canvas as my online platform where students can access my lectures, assignments, and ask me questions that support their learning. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me; I’m here to support you. También hablo español
Special Note to all my classes please start by logging in to Canvas; there you will find information about our class and first day of school: On Monday August 10th, I will go Live with Periods 1,3, 5, 7. On Tuesday August 11th, I will go Live with Periods 2,4, and 6.
